Sleigh Sessions 2009

Well another fun outing as the longboarding Santa's through NYC. This time we went out on two separate weekends. The brothers joined in one week, and a few friends made the trip out from California, just for the event. Good times all around, no better way to get into the holiday spirit.

Annie get you gun auditions!

Hey everybody!!
I don't know If anyone knows but my school is having the play "Annie get your gun."
I auditioned on the 10Th. I'm really nervous. I already got my call back.(It was on the same day.) I really really hope I get my second call back soon though. I only had to sing for my audition.I do have a monologue but I'm not sure If I'll end up doing it.
For my audition I had to sing this part of "There's not business like show business."

"There's no people like show people
They smile when they are low,
Yesterday they told you you would not go far
That night you opened and there you are
Next day on your dressing room they've hung a star
Let's go on with the show "

I was really nervous I had to sing this by myself.
I hope I get it. I'll update If I do!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween 2009! Terai was feeling a little under the weather, so we didn't get out as much as we had hoped. Seppo got a lot of candy, treat-or-treating at his friends building. Then we went to Jeremiah and Breanne's place.
Terai was a transformer Optimus Prime. Seppo was Ironman, and Tatjana was a vampire (complete with wings made of discarded umbrella's, and a skull belt.

Halloween

Hi everyone,
Halloween's right around the corner and the boys have their costumes already so here are some pictures. Terai is Optimus Prime and Seppo is Ironman.

Lacawac Sanctuary

We just got out for a quick getaway, before it gets too cold.

We didn't get any pictures of the actual lodge we stayed at, but here are a number of photos from our short hike.

Here is Tatjana checking out some tent caterpillars, and a monarch caterpillar.



There were some huge vines, going clear up to the top of the canopy that made for some fantastic swinging.









We found a random little seat up in the trees, used to watch the wildlife.
We didn't see too much more than deer and frogs.




Seppo and Tatjana both got in some nice tree climbing. Terai had good times with everyone that was out with us. It was great to get out.

Terai cruisin'

Terai learned how to ride a bike. He took to it right away, just jumped on and with a little push, just rode away.
Terai says, "When I was riding on my bike on two wheelers, I wanted to try it out on Seppo's bike, I did it god when Papa pushed me. And when Papa pushed me I starting peddling it, then I went around and went to a turn, and then everybody clapped for me."

Utah Trip 2009

We made it out to Utah for a quick visit, but made sure it was packed with outdoor fun and family!

We're back!!

Hey Everyone,

We're back in New York!
We had so much fun in Utah. We got to see cousins, we went camping, hiking, swimming and bike riding. On are last day we went up to Sundance with cousins we went up the ski lift and hiked to Stewart falls then went down. Mazy came up to my grandparents house from New York so we got to see her before we left. We had so much fun!

Hey Everyone!

We're in Utah right now. We got here yesterday. So far we've gone camping up in Alpine.
We can't wait to see evryone while we're here. Sorry there aren't any picture's but I'll put some up soon.

Sk8 or Die...or Run

Seppo, Terai, and Tatjana have decided to jump back on the boards, another fun activity in the park. This is my first attempt at skating and filming so the video is not so great. I also mounted the camera on a screw (which went right through our new board), in hopes of getting more stable shots.
More to come. Still have to get shots of Terai on the board, but you can see he loves the camera, and is pretty quick (in his socks!).

The Traveling Rings

Oddly enough M&M were telling me I should film some ring swinging on the very day that someone else filmed me (you can even see M&M in the background). I heard it was posted on youtube, so here it is now.
Not great, but learning.

Meeting Mazy

Our new cousin in NYC! Seppo and Terain got to visit Mazy in the hospital.
Looks like some very proud parents, uncles, and cousins.

Graduation!!

I just Graduated from P.S.165!!
My mom was taking some picture's with me, kids in my class and my teacher.
It was so much fun! I won a medal for citizenship. One of my friends left early just before the award ceremony to go to Florida.
I got to sing The Circle Game by Joni Mitchel on stage since I'm in the school choir.
My class got to play recorder pieces my friends played the violin and piano.
After graduation I ate cake and took picture's.

After graduation I walked to the park with my mom to Seppo's class end of the year picnic in my cap and gown. I had shorts on underneath the skirt I was wearing. I had a blast there. I was with a few kids from my class last year and someone from my choir.
We played catch, we played with bubble's, ate and it sprinkled here and there. I had a lot of fun with everybody this year.

More Holiday Hill

The other one is of a big group of my friends that are in my class that was taken right before we were going back to New York. I had so much fun and so did my friend.(I hope.)
